Difference Between Certified Pre-Owned & Used Vehicles
Certified pre-owned Honda vehicles are used vehicles, but they meet a higher level of standards. Our technicians will inspect a used vehicle, and that inspection will include more than 100 different points on a vehicle. If everything checks out, our technicians can certify that vehicle on behalf of the manufacturer. There are minor maintenance and repairs that can be completed prior to becoming certified, but nothing major can be present that would compromise the vehicle's integrity. The vehicle must be a certain age, and there can't be over a certain amount of mileage on the vehicle.
Used Vehicles, & CPO, Which is Better?
A used vehicle is previously owned, but it will not be certified on behalf of our dealership and the manufacturer. We may perform maintenance or service to these vehicles before we put them up for sale. We often provide you with remaining warranty coverage, or you can talk to our sales team about ongoing coverage or maintenance plans. Mileage can vary, as can the age of the vehicle
