Rear-seat passengers will appreciate the Civic's nice amount of legroom. The back seat is a 60/40 split bench, giving you more flexibility when you need more space for cargo. Heated front seats are standard, keeping you warm and cozy in the winter. Many trims have heated steering wheels, too. The Touring is one of the more refined trims and features leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats. It also gets to have a Bose 12-speaker sound system, a 9-inch colour touchscreen, SiriusXM, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and integrated navigation. The sporty SI trim also has those components, while the other trims benefit from 7-inch touchscreens with smartphone integration.

You can feel confident when you're behind the wheel of a Civic, knowing that the car is ready to take action on your behalf. If it seems like you're about to hit the vehicle in front of you, you'll be alerted to the situation, and the Civic could hit the brakes for you. In addition, it can warn you when you're drifting out of your lane, and if necessary, it can gently adjust your steering to keep you out of harm's way. Other standard safety mechanisms include adaptive cruise control, a traffic jam assist program, and a blind spot information system. Plus, some trims have been upgraded with rear cross-traffic monitoring systems that can provide helpful information about vehicles you might not otherwise be able to see.

2023 Honda Civic Sedan Performance

You'll have a choice of two engines, both of which have four cylinders. The first is a 2.0-litre, 158-horsepower engine that can make 138 pound-feet of torque. If you'd like more power, consider getting the turbocharged 1.5-litre, 180-horsepower engine. This is standard on the Touring and SI trims, offering 177 lb-ft of torque. Most trims come with continuously variable transmissions, but the SI models provide a six-speed manual for enhanced control.
